The construction sector is being disrupted by the usage of sandwich panels due to their multifunctional aspects. These panels usually comprise of two outer layers and have an insulating core, that provide great thermal insulation but are of a low weight and easy to handle. They do, however, have a multitude of characteristics that make them suitable for modern – industrial and residential – architecture. These panels are excellent when building aims to satisfy strict performance requirements and when efficiency and sustainability are key design factors.
